Let’s make our campuses greener! You can take steps for a more sustainable campus life at your university. We invite all university students at undergraduate and Master’s levels aged between 18-25 to work in small groups to come up with innovative ideas to make their campuses more environmental-friendly and sustainable. You can make an impact in your society through your project!
The successful group of students of the Green Campus competition will implement their projects under the mentorship of the Green Campus project, supported by the British Council Turkey and conducted at Altınbaş University, and the Environmental Association of Universities and Colleges based in the UK. We encourage students to create short videos throughout their projects and submit them to the #CountUsIn initiative ahead of the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) to take place in Glasgow on 1-12 November 2021. You can inspire other young people by your actions and projects.
We strongly encourage that students consider gender equality when they form groups comprising 2 to 5 people. Students with disabilities are particularly encouraged to apply. Applicants can participate in the Green Campus webinars throughout February 2021 to develop their ideas into projects. Detailed information about the webinars is available at the webpage of the project and its social media accounts.
